Adrian Garcia

Adrián works at Mesoamerica since 2005 and has participated in several mergers & acquisitions and private equity projects in Central America and Colombia. He works in the identification, analysis and support of investments undertaken by the private equity group. His experience consists of projects in over 20 different industries including financial services, insurance, specialty travel retail, telecommunications, infrastructure, agribusiness, real estate and renewable energy. 

He is an active member in programs that promote social responsibility with the Mesoamerica Foundation and is a member of the Individual Responsibility Committee at Asociación Empresarial para el Desarrollo (AED).

Adrian has a particular interest in the topics of technology, entrepreneurship and sustainable development, has served as advisor to multiple startups and nonprofits and is a Board Member at Yo Emprendedor (Business plan competition in Costa Rica), two mobile gaming development studios (Fair Play Labs and Saborstudio) and the local chapter for the Internet Society.

Adrian is Costa Rican, graduated with a B.A. in Economics with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
